The Health and Wellness Community Service Program is designed to inform members of issues that affect the well-being of all. This committee formed a walking group and our members meet weekly. They also provide health and wellness programs for our meetings
Projects in the Education and Libraries Community Service Program are designed to foster schools, as well as other educational institutions and opportunities. Our Book Club meets monthly to discuss a book selected by the members. This fun group meets in the evenings at a local Panera.
Our Knitting & Crochet Club meets monthly to work on a variety of projects. They also meet for fun and learning introducing the skill to those who want to learn the art.
Girls' Career Institute (GCI) offers a "mini college and career exploration experience" at Douglass Residential College on the campus of Rutgers University. Delegates experience a sample of college life by living in a dorm, eating in a cafeteria, and attending lectures and workshops. Each year a local high school girl from our area is selected.
Our members enjoy meeting monthly for Mahjongg. We also hold Mahjongg Tournaments which are open to the public and enjoyed by Mahjong players throughout New Jersey and New York.
