WE SUPPORT

  •  Comedy Night is our "fun" fundraiser the main proceeds benefit a charity selected by our members.
  • Our Mah Jongg Tournaments benefit charities, and draw participants from New Jersey and New York.
  • Our Environment Group decorates the Metuchen Train Station flower boxes.
  • Embrella is our state project for 2026-2028. Embrella is  a New Jersey foster care 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Their mission is to embrace, support, and advocate for children, youth, and families within the child welfare community.
  • Supporting veterans and the military with Adopt-a-Solider, Holiday Stockings,  Menlo Park Veterans Bingo and more are some of our favorite projects.
  • Our Mah jongg, knitting & crochet, movie nights, and book clubs meet regularly.
  • Members meet monthly for lunch and dinner.
  • We support several food banks donating items and hours.
  • We support shelters for women who have been the victims of abuse.
  • We donate to local animal shelters.
  • Our programs educate on a variety of subjects.
  • Our scholarships have supported students from Edison High School, Metuchen High School and J.P. Stevens  High School.
  • We support the NJSFWC Girls' Career Institute (GCI)- Our club GCI Committee meet with local High School Guidance Counselors to offer this opportunity to Junior High School girls.  GCI is a program where junior high school girls enjoy a mini college experience on the Rutgers Campus. 
  • Every year we add more programs, projects, clubs and new ideas!
